What are the fees for Viridian Wealth Management?
We believe fee transparency is an important part of the planning process. Fees are discussed during your complimentary initial consultation, where we will outline the services we recommend and the associated costs based on your individual needs.
Will householding reduce my total advisory fee?
Typically yes, by linking accounts the combined assets will reach our tiered fee schedule breakpoints faster. This can reduce your household’s overall effective advisory fee.
What makes your firm different than traditional financial advisors?
Our independence allows us to put our clients first – always. Without corporate sales pressures, product incentives, or firm-driven quotas, we can provide objective advice that reflects each client’s goals, values, and best interests. We believe that freedom leads to more thoughtful guidance, stronger relationships, and a more personal planning experience.
Are you a fiduciary advisor?
Yes, as a Registered Investment Advisor we adhere to fiduciary standards, meaning we are legally required to put your interests first in all advice and recommendations.
A fiduciary is a financial professional who is legally and ethically required to act in your best interest. That means our advice must be based on what’s most appropriate for your goals and situation – not what benefits us.
At Viridian Wealth Management, being a fiduciary also means we’re transparent about how we’re paid and about any potential conflicts. If we ever recommend something like life insurance or another financial product, we’ll clearly explain why it fits your plan, what it costs, and how any compensation works so you can make an informed decision with confidence.
Where is my money kept?
![]() | In our advisory role, we never take custody of client assets. We utilize Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. as the custodian of client accounts and as our primary broker. We have a custodial relationship with Charles Schwab, where Schwab holds and safeguards clients’ assets, provides account administration, and facilitates transactions. Our relationship with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is an arm’s length transaction with no exchange of funds between Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and us. When your account is established with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., you provide us with limited trading authorization on your account. This authority allows us to process trades directly in client accounts. |
How do I begin?
Typically, we only need a copy of your most recent account statement and your signatures on a few forms. We will take care of setting up your new account and transferring your assets.
